Good Life Festival
Let's Buy,Let's Enjoy,Let's Play
This summer has been different because of the unexpected matters. However, the situation in SHENZHEN appears to have passed its worst. With summer almost coming to the end, it’s time to seize the the sunshine and join the coolest event with us!
Organized by the China Merchants Culture Industry (CMCI), the 2nd “Good Life Festival” will take place on 12-13 September from 3 pm to 9 pm at the open space of Sea World Culture and Arts Center.
The Good Life Festival will present three main themes - creative marketplaces, art performances, and parties - to convey a C.E.O. (confident, energetic, optimistic) living attitude. Each theme is designed with a variety of activities, aiming to entertain not only the coming visitors but also their beloved pets.
Never miss the creative marketplace, ever! The “Ocean Breeze Market” is a platform for cultural and creative practitioners to display and sell their food and products, where the visitors can taste the handmade snacks and experience the fun of DIY.
To encourage families’ participation, there will be a barter corner for children to exchange their unneeded toys and gadgets and make new friends. On top of that, giving the old stuff a new life and reducing the wastes is a great opportunity to help children learn how to live a sustainable life.
If you’re a Mini Cooper enthusiast, you are going to be overwhelmed by the cool MINI INSPIRATION CAMP invading the Good Life Festival on the weekend. Moreover, the popular MINI trunk market will also appear as a surprise, selling "The Uniqueness of Life" in limited quantities. Mini Cooper is ready to catch your eyes and occupy your photo galleries!
Music and dance are indispensable in this event. We invite popular local live bands, dancers, Samba drumming, and the most interesting mascots parade to perk up the ambiance. While enjoying the concert on the lawn, taking a picnic with friends or family, be reminded to look out for people nearby - maybe you will be surprised to discover that art is everywhere.
Chill out with a movie under the stars at Shekou’s chicest open-air cinema. As the sun sets, relax with friends and family as you settle in for a summer’s night of entertainment surrounded by the scenery of the sea.
“Steve Jobs was a pioneer of digital music. But when he went home, he listened to VINYL.” Quoted by Neil Young, a Canadian musician. On the weekend evening, we invite some vinyl lovers just like Steve Jobs, taking music back to simple.
Have you ever heard of “Silent Disco”? Don’t worry if you haven’t. Silent Disco has become a popular choice for entertainment, replacing the PA system with wireless headphones instead. There is nothing cooler than having such a party at the art center - just put on the headphones and be wild!
Keen to participate in the event but worried about leaving your pets at home? It’s totally not an issue! Happy Hour for pets is a great opportunity for pet-loving individuals and furry companions to meet new friends. There will be a workshop customizing portraits for your beloved pets and then turn them into accessories.
In order to spice up the engagement, there will be a stamp collecting game for visitors to win gifts if completing the missions. The earlier to collect more stamps as you can, the more likely to win the grand prize.
